Professional Photocopier Registration Requirements

Business and Professions Code 22450-22463

A Professional Photocopier Registration is required of any person who for compensation obtains or reproduces documents authorized to be produced.

The applicant must present the following:

  • a valid government issued identification
  • a bond in the amount of $5,000 naming the registrant as principal, providing the term of two (2) years, must include commencement date and expiration date, and must state it is in favor of Riverside County
  • current commission from the Secretary of State as a notary public in the State of California from at least one person involved in the management of the professional photocopier for the duration of the registration-if the notary commission is held by someone other than the registrant, written confirmation from the notary authorizing the use of their commission for this registration is required
  • principal place of business or residential address must be located in the County of Riverside

Individual Professional Photocopier Registration Fee: $196.00
(includes recording/filing fee of a single-sided, single-page bond but may vary)
Each additional page of the bond: $3.00
Replacement identification card: $10.00
